The AC Marriott hotel in Belfast is a new 9 storey, 188 bed hotel situated by the River Lagan and forms part of the Belfast Harbour Commission’s City Quays masterplan for the redevelopment of the riverside area. The building presents a striking addition to the City Quays in a modern style, in context with the recently completed City Quays 1 and 2 buildings.
The hotel is the first AC brand by Marriott in the UK.
The project was highly commended at the Construction Excellence Awards 2018 in the Commercial Construction category

CLIENT: The O’Callaghan Group Hotels
ISD were appointed by the O’Callaghan Group to undertake the refurbishment of 3 of their Dublin Hotels that form part of the O’Callaghan Collection. The Alex was designed with an iconic industrial 1950’s feel and look throughout the hotel. The Green was based on a crisp colour palette of whites, greens and black to create a sense of unity between the hotel and the city, whilst the Davenport offers a vision of subtle luxury through the use of blues, gold and soft neutral colour.

The project is an addition to the 4-storey, 113-guestroom hotel and conference facility at the Fairways, Dundalk.
It comprised a new, modern and vibrant 4-storey extension and link building with bars, restaurant, lounge and reception foyer, as well as refurbishment works to the existing Grand Hall and bedroom block.

The hotel consists of an existing 4-storey rendered building dating back to 1820 with extensive renovations taking place in the 1930’s.
ISD was commissioned by leading design and construct building services contractor VENI to provide professional design and post-design services for the new Easy Hotel, Howard Street, Belfast.
The project consisted of converting it from a terrace of five, 4-storey Georgian houses and transforming it into an 83-bed super budget hotel.
