This dementia-friendly supported housing development comprises 30 one and two bedroom self-contained apartments. Cullingtree Meadows is a new and exciting supported housing scheme for people living with dementia. It is a partnership between Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and Clanmil Housing Group.

The facility provides 30 modern, quality apartments. Each apartment is furnished as the tenant has requested. A range of assistive technology was incorporated to maintain the tenant’s safety within each apartment. There are homely communal areas and a beautiful garden to combine comfort, independence and support.

The scheme was a finalist in the Construction Excellence Awards 2018 – Health Infrastructure category and in the RICS Awards 2019 in the Residential Section

Iveagh Childrens Unit, Belfast

As part of the BHSCT Minor Works Framework ISD have delivered a variety of refurbishment schemes across the BHSCT estate. Examples of these include refurbishment of various domestic stores in a number of Trust properties as part of their MTC works and the refurbishment of offices to provide treatment rooms at the Maureen Sheehan Centre. We are also currently on site with the new GP Surgery at the Everton Complex.

Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Framework for Craigavon Area Hospital

As part of a multi-disciplinary design team who were awarded a place on this Healthcare Framework, ISD have undertaken a number of schemes at Craigavon Area Hospital. These schemes have involved a diverse range of projects such as LV infrastructure upgrade works, refurbishment of various specialist areas including CT Scanner, A&E Department, Resuscitation and Cath laboratory.

Marlborough Clinic, Belfast

The new independent family-owned dental referral and medical facility offering dental implants, dermatology and hair transplant.

Works comprised the complete strip out and renovation of an existing 3-storey Victorian residential building on the corner of the Malone Road and Marlborough Park.

ISD was employed by the client as part of an architect led design team to provide full professional services from RIBA 2 to 6.

This project was carried out as part of the Framework for Consultancy Services in connection with Minor Works Schemes for Belfast, Northern, South Eastern, Southern & Western Health and Social Care Trusts.

This was a complex scheme that involved the construction of partial 1st and 2nd mezzanine floors within an existing large central atrium to provide additional Consulting Rooms and Waiting Areas for the existing GP Practices presently located around the perimeter of the atrium.
